This is a custom-designed balisong, commonly known as a butterfly knife. The defining characteristic of this weapon is the fan-like opening of a freely pivoting blade, allowing rapid deployment or concealment. As a result, butterfly knives are outlawed in many countries. It has some damascus steel parts.

Questions about Butterfly Knife | Damascus Steel

How much does Butterfly Knife | Damascus Steel cost?
Butterfly Knife | Damascus Steel starts at about $717 and runs up to around $864 depending on wear. The cheapest wear is Minimal Wear at $717, and Factory New is the most expensive at $864. Prices here are pulled from live market listings and refreshed daily, so treat them as a starting point rather than a fixed quote.
Which wear should you buy for Butterfly Knife | Damascus Steel?
Butterfly Knife | Damascus Steel exists between float 0 and 0.5, which is what decides the wear you can get. Here Factory New costs roughly 1.2x what Minimal Wear does, so the question is whether the difference is visible from a first-person view. On darker and busier finishes it usually is not, and the cheaper wear does the same job in a loadout.
What case is Butterfly Knife | Damascus Steel from?
Butterfly Knife | Damascus Steel drops from Spectrum Case and Spectrum 2 Case. Opening for a specific skin is a bad bet at almost any odds, so buying it outright on the market is nearly always the cheaper route.
Does Butterfly Knife | Damascus Steel have a StatTrak version?
Yes. A StatTrak version of Butterfly Knife | Damascus Steel exists and counts your kills with the Butterfly Knife. StatTrak copies are a separate item on the market and normally trade above the plain version.
