Team picker questions

How does the CS2 team picker work?
Enter the ten players, pick a wheel spin or a case opening and start the draft. Team A and Team B take turns: every spin or case gives the current team one random player from those still left, until both teams have five.
Is the draft really random?
Yes. Every remaining player has the same chance on every pick. The wheel and the case are only the animation, the pick itself is a fair random draw in your browser.
Can I change the teams after the draft?
Yes. Click a player and then a player on the other team to swap them, drag the handle to change the order inside a team, click a team name to rename it, swap which team plays CT, or start a new draft with the same names.
How does the map veto work?
Below the teams, the two teams take turns banning maps from the Active Duty pool until one is left, and that is the map you play. Best of 3 goes ban, ban, pick, pick, ban, ban and the last map is the decider. You can flip a coin for who starts or edit the map pool.
Can it pick the map like CS2 Premier?
Yes. Choose Premier above the maps: one team picks a map, the other picks two, the first picks one more, and one of the four is drawn at random. That is how Premier has picked maps since the September 2026 update.
Which maps are in the pool?
The current Active Duty pool: Ancient, Anubis, Cache, Dust II, Inferno, Mirage, Nuke. Open Map pool to add Overpass, Train or Vertigo, or to remove maps you do not want to play.
Can I use it for a 10 man, PUG or inhouse?
That is what it is for. Ten friends, a custom lobby or a private server: draft the two teams of five here, settle the map, then copy both teams and the map into Discord.
Can I skip the wheel or case animation?
Yes. Press Space or click the button again while it spins and the pick lands right away.
Are the names saved anywhere?
No. Nothing leaves your browser and nothing is stored. Reload the page and the names are gone.
